Het Bosch ‘Waterfront Kitchen & Bar’ stands out as a contemporary lifestyle restaurant where one can enjoy recipes that are the essence of the French gastronomic culture performed under the most cutting-edge culinary techniques. Chef Yanick Esser’s kitchen is founded on the French cuisine with modern twists and influences from both southern Europe and Asia, whilst still respecting classic kitchen. Every week, the menu is renewed using seasonal ingredients and the ideas of our creative kitchen. In addition, we offer a lobster menu – our favorite ingredient for a long time, kept in our lobster tank in the middle of our restaurant. All ingredients are selected based on strict criteria for quality and seasonality, and we at Het Bosch strive to source regional ecological products where possible.

The traditional regions of France, Italy and Spain are well-represented on our wine-list, but also the lesser known wines from the Languedoc, New Zealand and South Africa get their deserved attention. Many wines are also served by the glass, such as the white Clos de Fees, a Chianti from Poggiotondo , and many others. We also offer many biological wines. Our sommelier Danny van Houten composed a second wine-list with 20 different years of the wines from Chateau Mouton Rothschild, all prized very reasonably…

Our special Gin&Tonic-trolley contains more than 45 different gins and 7 types of tonic, which can be combined with several ingrediënts such as star anise, liqourice root or orange peel. Our favorites? Too much to mention, but our own ‘bath tub gin’ shaked with lime and lemon grass combined with the ‘1724’-tonic ranks high on our favourites-list!
